I hung up from your town hall depressed and feeling like it was an hour of gas lighting. A few points: I did appreciate your concern over the Hegseth security breach, but when you said the important thing is that it was a successful mission and that “if someone had died” it would have been different. For this entire team to have been so reckless on so many levels is unthinkable. The acknowledgment that someone could have died from this level of neglect was revealing. And how many other top secret Signal meetings are going on right now and how many unintended members are on these calls and how many of the phones that are being used have been hacked by those who want to do us harm? Your comment “they learned their lesson” is not ok. Hegseth needs to go. These people cannot keep America safe.
