I write today demanding that you take immediate and decisive action to protect us, your constituents. In the face of authoritarian threats, it is your responsibility to ensure that the interests of the American people are safeguarded. I urge you to stand firm against this blatant assault on our democracy and do everything in your power to defend the American people from this authoritarian overreach. You know what I am talking about: the barrage of executive orders targeting trans youth, immigrants, working class folks, ETC & the dismantling of programs for DEI & the disruption to assistance programs for housing, nutrition, childcare, & to social security & veterans health care. I could go on. This is your JOB. Please create a sustained stink to counter this madness. We are afraid.
