I am writing to you as a born and raised St. Louisian and a current resident of South City. I believe it’s a gross overreach to overturn the will of St. Louis voters who showed up to block the HB 495. Giving power to the state over our city’s police is a power grab and a blatant disregard of public safety. I urge you to listen to the actual residents of St. Louis and veto HB495.
