This is the time to speak up. At present, Mahmoud Khalil is being held illegally for exercising his first amendment rights. The media is downplaying this. The world is watching. This is called "disappearing" somebody, just because they oppose what the current government deems right. This is unconstitutional, illegal, and disgusting. ICE is quickly becoming like Gestapo for this current administration, and we the people and our representatives and senators MUST act. First they'll come for certain minorities and groups, then people who oppose the political agenda, and finally all of us that aren't "like them". I urge you and every member of the Democratic Party to SPEAK UP, to FIGHT for our constitutional rights, and to DEFEND democracy and free speech. FREE MAHMOUD. Find a way to get it done, or the precedent that this sets is going to be a horrific human rights crisis.
