I have been horrified watching the country I love descend into facism. Civil rights protections are being called discriminatory, diversity is considered a dirty word, and all of the agencies that support our most vulnerable people are being dismantled. We are essentially reliant on the state of Pennsylvania to not follow suit. How are you actively working to ensure that our civil rights are more important than our gun rights? How are you working to improve access to health care rather than denying it to those you don’t like? How are you ensuring that our disabled children do not have their special education services yanked away in the name of efficiency? How are you helping stave off disinformation and incendiary rhetoric so citizens can make an actual informed decision that’s not based in fear? In other words how will you lead us to a better tomorrow of hope and not a tomorrow of despair? Awaiting your reply.
