I am OUTRAGED by Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth's deliberate use of Signal for government communications. This is NOT merely a procedural violation—it is a calculated attempt to conceal official business from congressional oversight and public scrutiny. This behavior is UNACCEPTABLE and MUST be met with the severest consequences.
I DEMAND:
1. Secretary Hegseth's IMMEDIATE RESIGNATION. Anyone who deliberately circumvents federal records laws has proven themselves unfit for public office.
2. A FULL CONGRESSIONAL INVESTIGATION with no stone left unturned. Every message, every device, every communication must be forensically examined.
3. CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION by the Department of Justice. Using encrypted, self-deleting messaging apps to conduct government business potentially constitutes obstruction of justice and violation of the Federal Records Act.
4. COMPLETE DISCLOSURE of ALL other administration officials engaging in this practice. This corruption clearly extends beyond a single individual.
The American people will NOT tolerate government officials who believe they are above the law. If Hegseth and others have nothing to hide, they should have nothing to fear from proper investigation. Their deliberate attempt to shield communications from lawful oversight suggests otherwise.
This is not about politics—it is about preserving the rule of law. Officials who deliberately evade transparency requirements must face consequences up to and including criminal prosecution if warranted by the evidence.
Congress must act NOW with the full force of its constitutional authority. Anything less is an abdication of your sworn duty.
