The President is not above the law and must comply with constitutional due process requirements. Deporting individuals without allowing them an opportunity to challenge allegations against them violates fundamental principles of fairness and due process enshrined in the Constitution. Such rushed deportations trample on the rights of those targeted, failing to provide basic protections against wrongful removal from the country. The judiciary has a critical role in upholding these constitutional safeguards and ensuring the executive branch operates within legal bounds, including on matters of immigration enforcement and national security. Preserving due process protections ultimately strengthens the integrity of the system and the rule of law.
