I’m writing to demand that you pressure the Trump administration to re-engage with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy and commit to security guarantees for our ally. Trump’s pro-Putin stance against Ukraine is disturbing, suspicious, and not aligned with American values. I urge you to vocally and legislatively support Ukraine at every opportunity. Senator Young admirably said it himself on his own website regarding Russia's invasion of Ukraine: "The stakes extend beyond Europe, as China is watching us and clearly has the same ambitions for Taiwan. It is essential that America sends an unequivocal message: invading sovereign, democratic nations will never be tolerated." Russia is celebrating. This is an embarrassment to the United States. It sends a message to our allies that the United States can no longer be trusted. This is going to have lasting repercussions for our country. I implore you to voice support for Ukraine. The rest of the world is watching and so are your constituents.
