I am writing to express my continued outrage at Department of Government Efficiency employees showing criminal disregard for data privacy and security protocols at the federal agencies whose computer files they are rifling through.
These young system hackers have no security clearances. They have no oversight over what data they access. They are not accountable to anyone other than their unelected, unappointed director, Elon Musk.
Neither Musk nor his young hacker have the right to access the private data of U.S. citizens. If any other private citizen hacked into these government systems, they would be arrested, and rightfully so.
DOGE’s access to such private information poses significant risks to personal safety, national security and the integrity of vital government programs.
The massive scale of this privacy invasion is unprecedented and shocking. I urge you to take immediate action to halt DOGE's unlawful activities, investigate the consequences, and mitigate the harms caused.
