I am particularly concerned about this administration's attempt to shut down our first amendment rights. From threatening to consider all university protests illegal, to "disappearing" Mahmoud Khalil, it's clear President Trump is trying to intimidate people and groups from speaking out. That makes it even more important for all of us to speak out, including you. If we don't get loud now, we may lose the chance. We are the United States. We have a right to free speech. And if we don't have free speech, we won't have any freedoms. Speak up in defense of Mahmoud Khalil, and in defense of all protesters. What is happening in our country right now is wrong, and protest is what we must do. Defend our right to protest, and our freedoms.
