Vote no on the SAVE Act

To: Sen. Hickenlooper, Sen. Bennet, Rep. Hurd

From: A constituent in Grand Junction, CO

April 2

The concerns I'm writing about today are in regards to the SAVE Act. Voter ID is already required to vote in federal elections. This act would disenfranchise women voters who have changed their name when they married their spouses. 8 in 10 women in opposite-sex marriages say they changed their names when they got married. Therefore, the names on their drivers licenses don't match their birth certificates. This SAVE Act is completely unnecessary. Please vote no and protect the rights for women who don't have passports, proving residency to vote.
