Republican President Trump's plan to gut social security is a ticking time bomb. I grew up and still live in the Shenandoah Valley. My 85-year-old father still goes to the same country church where he was baptized. Every Sunday morning, this church is filled with farming families who are committed Trump supporters. Imagine what Sunday morning conversations are going to take place after my dad and his fellow parishioners stop getting their social security checks.
