It's apparent that you seem to have no issue with the steady dismantling of our democracy and our Constitution,,but allowing co-President Musk to gut our libraries and museums? Do you remember how much the Romans are hated still for destroying the Library of Alexandria? Do you want that to be shat you are remembered for? Musk placed the staff of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) on administrative leave after his staffers took control of the agency’s offices and gained access to its computer systems. The move appears to be part of a broader plan to dismantle the primary source of federal support for the nation’s museums and libraries. Established in 1996, the IMLS provides funding to libraries and museums in every U.S. state and territory—primarily supporting essential but low-profile functions such as database infrastructure and collections management. Its largest initiative, the Grants to States program, distributes roughly $160 million annually to state library agencies, covering between one-third and one-half of their operating budgets. You're already destroying the Department of Education, now you don't want Americans to self-educate either? I simply do not understand how someone who took an oath to the Constitution is gleefully helping this president destroy our once proud nation. I am so disappointed in you. I never thought I'd have to see my own representatives in Congress allow this to happen.
