Do you support co-equal branches of government? Are you going to protect them?

To: Sen. Grassley, Rep. Feenstra, Sen. Ernst

March 20

When will you say enough is enough? When are these things equally as bad as Clinton's impeachable indiscretion? You say you disagree with Trump’s talking points, yet you either ignore his actions or lie to the public. You claim to fully support Ukraine and condemn Putin, yet you did nothing when we stopped security communications, leading to more deaths, including children. Trump refuses to call Putin a dictator and instead parrots Russian propaganda, blaming Ukraine for the war. You admit tariffs hurt the economy, especially farmers, yet you do nothing as they destroy decades-old geopolitical relationships. You say you oppose annexing Canada, yet Trump repeatedly pushes for it on FOX. Not once has he backed down. Will you stop him if he orders troops to the border or launches cyberattacks? You certainly aren’t stopping his economic attacks. Where’s your line? You claim you didn’t support pardoning violent January 6 criminals—but your inaction suggests otherwise. You called Trump’s illegal firing of Inspectors General problematic, yet all you did was write a letter. You claim oversight is critical, yet you support Musk’s DOGE with zero oversight. If there was any, he wouldn’t keep “accidentally” firing essential employees and scrambling to rehire them. You claim to want a balanced budget yet push tax cuts, especially for corporations and the wealthy. How does cutting taxes for the rich help pay down debt? You claim to support law and order, yet you do nothing when judges are attacked and threatened with impeachment—even after Chief Justice Roberts issued rare warnings in December and March. More than a dozen bipartisan judges ruled the administration has probably broken the law. Trump has had more injunctions than any president because he pushes boundaries like no one before him. He is begging for it. The administration outright said the executive branch are the only ones who can interpret the Constitution. What the hell is the judiciary for? You know this is a dangerous attack on co-equal branches of government. You don’t impeach judges for doing their jobs. Where is your line? You’ve already handed Congress’s power to the executive branch—will you at least protect the judiciary? Give me specific examples of your actions. You’ve made your positions clear in words—where are your deeds? What does it take for you to use your congressional powers against the executive branch? Is Lisa Murkowski and Don Bacon right? Are you just too scared? Are you worried Trump and Musk are mimicking Putin? We know what he does to dissenters and his opposition. I’ll be waiting for your response. P.S. What’s your town hall schedule?
