We demand that you take immediate action to stop the rising costs of essential medications, including inhalers, insulin, and GLP-1 medications. It is unacceptable that life-saving drugs are becoming unaffordable while pharmaceutical companies prioritize profits over people’s health.
Recently, the price of inhalers has risen yet again, forcing many Americans to choose between breathing and paying their bills. Now, Congress is set to block compounding pharmacies from producing affordable versions of insulin and GLP-1 medications—critical treatments for diabetes and other serious conditions. This decision directly harms millions who rely on these drugs to survive.
We refuse to accept a system where corporate greed determines who gets access to care. Congress must:
1. Reinstate protections for compounding pharmacies to produce affordable insulin and GLP-1 medications.
2. Implement price controls on essential medications to prevent continued exploitation of patients.
3. Hold pharmaceutical companies accountable for price gouging and unethical business practices.
Healthcare is a right, not a privilege. We demand that you stand with the people you were elected to serve—not the corporations profiting from our suffering. If you continue to prioritize pharmaceutical profits over public health, we will remember at the ballot box.
