The President of the United States is not above the law. Trump’s refusal to act according to legal rulings is concerning at a minimum, terrifying when taken to its extreme. While the powers of the Executive branch were clearly laid out in the Constitution, it is essential that he be reminded that no one branch of the government has more power than the others. The United States is a constitutional democracy, not a dictatorship. As an elected representative of the people, he must act in the best interest of all Americans, not just his billionaire sycophant best friends
