It is absolutely unacceptable that members of the U.S. government—including JD Vance, Pete Hegseth, Marco Rubio, and Mike Waltz—engaged in discussions of war plans in an unsecured group chat. This reckless behavior is not just incompetence—it is a blatant threat to national security and a potential violation of federal law, including the Espionage Act (18 U.S.C. § 793).
The safeguarding of classified military strategy is not optional. Mishandling such sensitive information—whether through negligence or outright disregard for security protocols—puts American troops and citizens at risk. If these individuals are so careless with matters of war, what else are they jeopardizing?
I demand that Congress immediately investigate these individuals for potential violations of the Espionage Act and other relevant statutes. If they have indeed endangered our national security, they must be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. No one—not senators, not media personalities, not so-called “trusted officials”—is above the law, and impeachment seems appropriate.
Congress cannot afford to look the other way. If you fail to act, you are complicit in setting a dangerous precedent where those in power can recklessly endanger our country without consequence. Investigate. Prosecute if necessary. And above all, protect the integrity of our national security.
