An Open Letter

To: Sen. Curtis, Rep. Kennedy, Sen. Lee

From: A constituent in American Fork, UT

March 26

I am writing to express my deep concern over the recent revelation that classified security information related to Yemen was improperly discussed in a group chat. The careless handling of such sensitive intelligence is a grave breach of national security and demands immediate accountability. In any other administration and in any other time, such a reckless failure would have marked the end of that administration. The fact that this has happened without immediate consequences is deeply troubling. Changes must take place to ensure that those entrusted with our national security handle classified information with the seriousness it requires. If such negligence is allowed to go unchecked, it sets a dangerous precedent and puts American lives and interests at risk. As my elected representative, I urge you to take a strong stance in demanding a full investigation and holding the responsible parties accountable. This is not a partisan issue—it is about protecting our nation. I expect swift and decisive action to ensure such failures do not happen again. Please let me know what steps you plan to take to address this serious matter. I appreciate your time.
