The Trump administration is trying to take congressional power for itself. An example is the administration’s determination to not spend money the way Congress allocated it. This Republican Congress is allowing Trump and Musk to steamroll the legislative branch. Do not allow the executive branch to take your power. Your obligation to check the executive is infinitely more important than fealty to an individual president. Do your job and selfishly fight for the powers of Congress and hold the administration accountable for trying to take for themselves the powers of other government branches.
