I strongly oppose the Democrats who stood with the Republicans who voted to censure Al Green. Those who stood with Rep Green should be lauded for their loyalty and solidarity. While those of us in Illinois are privileged in our representation, we need to be fighting for those who have turncoats and cowards representing them. I am calling on you to stand up with Rep. Green and to encourage Democrats to get off their butts and ACT IN OUR BEST INTERESTS. Wearing pink, or blue & yellow, and carrying discreet little signs of protest is not going to help our country. We need strong, vocal, visible representation. We need GOOD TROUBLE! Please encourage those who stood with Rep. Green and make it known that those who crossed the aisle to censure him are untrustworthy cowards!
