We Demand Real Representation and a Town Hall — Not More Political Theater
To: Rep. Loudermilk
From: A constituent in Woodstock, GA
March 28
Dear Representative Loudermilk,
I am writing to express deep frustration and outrage at the continued flood of empty, self-congratulatory newsletters filled with misleading talking points and legislative fluff. The people of Georgia’s 11th District are not fooled. Your so-called “commonsense” bills and attacks on regulations that protect consumers and the environment serve one group: the wealthy and well-connected — not the people who elected you.
Since I last contacted your office, over 300 members of our community have joined together demanding accountability. Many of us have lost jobs or are seeing our neighbors suffer as a direct result of cuts to government programs and the erosion of protections that your policies support. These are real lives, not political talking points. What exactly are you doing to help us — not in theory, not in party-line talking points, but tangibly and directly?
We are demanding a public town hall where you face your constituents and answer our questions — no more hiding behind press releases and newsletters filled with partisan nonsense and vague claims. You were elected to serve us, not corporate interests, not the financial elite, and certainly not the unelected “DOGE” department you reference — a group which, if anything, appears to be playing a role in obscuring real impacts to vital services like cancer research, health access, and earned benefits.
If you will not hold a town hall, we will invite other representatives and leaders — including those from across the aisle and our senators — to speak in this district and show the people what actual leadership and representation looks like. 2026 is coming fast, and this community is mobilized and watching. If your focus remains on performative politics over people’s real needs, we will make sure your seat is contested by someone ready to lead with integrity and action.
Stop the spin. Do your job, or step down.
