I am writing to urge you to vote no on SB 579. The cities of West Virginia should have the right to take steps to protect vulnerable communities, even if the state as a whole hasn't done so. This bill accomplishes nothing but jeopardizing the safety and livelihoods of innocent people and taking away the autonomy of our cities. Please, stand up for the people of West Virginia by voting NO.
