I want to strongly urge you to stand up for your constituents and stop playing right into the hands of the very people and policies you are supposed to be fighting against. The entire floor was silent when Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert verbally harassed President Biden during his speech before Congress. Why do you think it's necessary to speak up now by voting to censure Rep. Al Green? Your vote has raised concerning questions about whether your priorities truly align with representing the progressive values and policies that your constituents elected you to uphold.
