It is very important for you to support public funds only for public schools. This voucher scam that Governor Abbott and the Republican legislators are trying to force down the throats of Texans takes our tax dollars away from the majority of children in Texas, and gives it to an elite few. Millions of Texas children should not suffer to fund wealthy families sending their kids to private schools. With Trump and Musk making devastating cuts in funds and personnel in the Department of Education at the federal level, gutting funding for public schools at the state level will be even more harmful. Do not let private school lobbyists and West Texas oligarchs destroy Texas's public education system.
