Please oppose H.R. 740 , the Veterans Access Act which would destroy the VHA and be detrimental to the health care of over 9 million US Veterans, and divert the public funds to a private sector, limit veteran's choices, decrease coverage, and reduce access to care. I do not know if you are aware, but Tricare currently offers longterm care- FOR FREE- to Veterans. They do not call it "longterm"-but, as I was told by a Tricare for Life rep, Tricare provides everything that longterm care provides without the burden of outrageous fees. I am pretty sure that if the VHA is cut, that there will be cuts to that program and many others. What is happening in our country, to all of our citizens and residents, to all of our students, and seniors, to all of our needy, homeless, to all of our veterans, and to our environment is the result of the constitutional crisis that is due to trump's blatant disregard for the rule of law. I urge you to: subpoena F-Elon Musk and DOGE to investigate their alterations to govt IT systems and private data theft, publicly condemn and demand oversight hearings to investigate the orange menace administration's open defiance of the federal court orders, and support articles of impeachment to convict the ( already) convicted felon for his repetitive defiance of constitutional law. I apologize for the terminology, but he will never be my president and I refuse to address him respectfully because he does not deserve it.
