I am writing (again) as a voting constituent from Davis, California, to demand that funding and employees be restored to the Institute of Museum and Library Services. They provide critical support for such things as database infrastructure and collections management. These aren't the "high profile" things that one thinks of, but without this funding, state library agencies will have their funding cut by up to 50%. It is imperative that our country remain literate and informed. The current administration is trying to unravel this important fundamental issue for the country. Thank you.
