Ensure adequate VA funding to support veterans' services
To: Rep. Norman
From: A constituent in Fort Mill, SC
March 6
The Constitution grants Congress the power of the purse, with the ability to allocate funding and oversee federal spending. Terminating VA employees could negatively impact vital services for our nation's veterans who have sacrificed for our country. As public servants, VA workers play a crucial role in delivering quality healthcare and benefits that veterans have earned. Rather than dismissals that risk disrupting operations, a more prudent approach would be to ensure the VA has sufficient resources and staffing to meet the needs of our veteran community effectively and efficiently. Responsible congressional oversight combined with adequate funding can uphold our solemn obligation to support those who served.
