Nebraska's elections systems have robust safeguards and procedures in place to ensure integrity and accuracy. Any claims of widespread fraud or irregularities impacting election outcomes are simply unfounded conspiracy theories not supported by evidence. Instead of pursuing unnecessary and misguided "election reforms" that will only make it harder for eligible citizens to vote, lawmakers should be working to strengthen access to the ballot box and increase voter participation in our democracy. Transparent and secure elections are vital, but so is protecting every American's fundamental right to vote. I urge you to reject any legislation restricting this essential freedom based on disinformation campaigns.
