As a heartbroken and motivated constituent, I’m writing with grave concern as 15 medics were found executed and buried by Israeli forces in a mass grave in Gaza. I urge you to VOTE YES ON AN ARMS EMBARGO as proposed by Senator Sanders. No more funding for WAR CRIMES! These dollars could be used in Massachusetts to expand the Free Lunch Program and further Momnibus efforts statewide.
Instead, our taxpayer dollars fund war crimes. This week, at least one medic was found with hands bound before being killed. The UN OCHA confirmed medics were responding to an attack when Israeli forces fired on their clearly marked ambulances in Rafah. Their bodies bore gunshot wounds to the head and chest—clear signs of execution. Their remains were stuffed into black bags and buried:

Rafah has faced relentless Israeli assault. Witnesses report mass executions: young men rounded up, executed in ditches, children shot in front of parents.
Are you getting flashbacks to Rwanda? Srebrenica? Auschwitz? El Salvador?
If not, you should be. And we are complicit the longer we fund weapons and bombs.
Israel's systematic targeting of healthcare workers is undeniable:
- 1,402 medical personnel killed since October 2023.
- 362 healthcare workers taken captive, at least three doctors tortured to death.
- 24 hospitals, 80 healthcare centers destroyed.
- 142 ambulances bombed.
The UN recently found Israel’s attacks on reproductive services in Gaza constitute genocide. The targeted killing of medics is a war crime punishable under international law.
Normalization with Israel must end. This is not just foreign policy—it’s a moral imperative. AND THIS IS WHAT THE MAJORITY OF AMERICANS WANT! Look at the energy behind Sanders and AOC! You want to oust the GOP? This is our path!
Every moment of inaction enables war crimes. Sanctions have stopped human rights abuses elsewhere; they must be applied here.
A two-way trade and arms embargo, an end to diplomatic ties with apartheid states—especially Israel—is essential. Recognizing Palestine is the only path to peace and an end to occupation. International law must be upheld. Basic human rights must be protected.
