Virginia Minimum Wage
To: Gov. Youngkin
From: A verified voter in Williamsburg, VA
March 25
I am disappointed in your refusal to increase our state's minimum wage. The two-year plan to increase minimum wage to $15/hour is honestly not enough, but you believe even this small pay rate is unacceptable. The fact that Virginians can not expect *at least* a living wage is what is truly unacceptable. How can anyone pursue the American dream without at least a living wage to start from? How can we expect Virginians get out of poverty without the guarantee of a living wage?
Governor Youngkin, please reconsider our state minimum wage. Please increase our minimum wage to a *living wage.*
Thank you
