Student Loan forgiveness should not be something to offered and taken away on a whim because someone decides you or your organization are engaging in "improper activities" which will be deemed improper I guess based on whatever offends this particular administration. This is, of course, in violation of current law, because the Trump administration has no care for what is written law and clearly considers congress to be superfluous. the terms of PSLF exist under the law and should not be altered on the whims of a man who opposes free speech and individual thought. this was a bipartisan law and should be upheld. People entered into this agreement and into public service with an understanding that if they upheld their end of the bargain the government would do the same. This will erode even further the confidence of the people in their ability to trust that the government to fulfill its promises and obligations. And to allow student loan forgiveness to hinge on whether someone deems their work "improper" will be a flat out violation of the first Amendment. you might remember the first Amendment as part of the constitution you swore to uphold and defend.
