Defend Congressional power - reject funding freeze, authoritarian overreach

The President's attempt to usurp Congressional power by freezing allocated funds is an unconstitutional violation of Article I, Sections 1 and 8, which grant Congress the power of the purse and legislative authority. Congress must act decisively to defend its constitutional role and prevent this financial coup from undermining democratic norms. All funding bills should include ironclad protections against the President's actions. Hearings with subpoena power must compel testimony from figures like Musk and Vought to expose Republican complicity. Procedural tools should be fully utilized to slow House business and pressure the GOP to reject this authoritarian overreach. Additionally, the Senate should reject nominees enabling the coup like Kash Patel. Upholding constitutional checks and balances requires decisive congressional leadership and action now. As a constituent, I am looking for leadership from you, and you need to start showing it.
