Breach of Security Using Signal to Plan Wars

To: Rep. Lieu, Sen. Padilla, Sen. Schiff

From: A verified voter in Los Angeles, CA

March 25

This is regarding the breach of security with the White House staff, planning a war against the Houthis via Signal texts. 1. How can anyone (aka Trump) trust Mike Waltz going forward since he's so dumb as to add a reporter to such a highly secretive group chat? 2. Why did Hegseth copy war planning information from the military computer systems onto a Signal chat? 3. Hegseth needs to explain why he thought all those people needed the war plans? On MSNBC Goldberg indicated the Sec of Treasury was in the chat…. Why? 4. Why did no one on the National Security Team - including the Dir. of the CIA and WH COS - not STOP it and say Signal is not an appropriate tool. Why did no one check the chat to see who was on it? 5. Witkoff was in Moscow… why did he join such a highly sensitive group on a civilian phone while INSIDE RUSSIA? Is that considered OPSEC? (The answer is no) 6. Do Members of the House and Senate Intel Committees think that firing just Mike Waltz is enough? 7. Did Hegseth mishandle highly classified information? 8. This is indicative of the WH operations so far - from DOGE to Signalgate to Greenland - does Congress think the WH is doing a bang-up job? 9. Are they using disappearing messages on Signal to avoid record keeping rules? Is this why they are using civilian phones for such an important conversation? 10. We are 2 months into Trump’s term and his numbers are falling. Is Trump still confident in his team’s ability to execute his vision? 11. Is Susie Wiles going to make it through this since she was on the chat and should be aware of what’s going on?
