No militarization of the border!

The Guardian yesterday reported that there are plans to militarize the border here in New Mexico. I live in Deming, 30 miles from the border. I DO NOT want to see the border militarized here or anywhere. This is the most ridiculous - well, one of the most ridiculous, at least - plans I have heard of. Please do any and everything you can to see that this doesn't come to pass.
