Please vote NO on the budget bill and reducing funding for the DOD Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program (CDMRP). The CDMRP funds crucial and life saving research on hemorrhagic shock and traumatic brain injury. The innovations from the CDMRP save the lives of soldiers and civilians. The Texas Medical Center in Houston has the busiest trauma center in the country at Memorial Hermann and UTHealth Houston. Innovations funded by the CDMRP have resulted from research coming from this center. Life saving research depends on continued funding for trauma research from the CDMRP. Thank you for your time and service.
