I’m writing to voice my displeasure at the revocation of funding for the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Not only is our local library a great place to check out books, but they also provide my town of Camden with valuable services such as social work and quality kids programming. There is no organization in our town that provides the variety of services that the library does, and the return on investment for the comparatively small amount government funding is huge. This is exactly what people expect their taxpayer dollars to fund. I urge you to speak up for the funding Congress had previously allocated and fund our libraries!
