I demand that you NOT vote for the Stop Gap Funding bill which passed the House. No Stop Gap Funding bill should be agreed to until Elon Musk and DOGE are stopped and removed indefinitely, all cuts are removed and the funding increases to Elon Musk and his companies, DOGE, ISIS and Defense are removed. I am against voting for any Funding bill until Elon Musk and Doge's powers are severely constrained. We need: 1) enforceable halts to Elon Musk's (and Doge's) ability to fire government employees 2) enforceable end to Musk's and DOGE's access to government data and computer systems 3) a stop to be put in place on Musk's and Doge's ability to bully or control the actions of government employees. Better yet, have Elon Musk and Doge completely removed from our government before signing any bills. Their actions have been illegal and reckless and there are too many conflicts of interest with Musk dismissing individuals who have oversight into complaints brought against Musk's companies and issuing new contracts to himself. We also need funds released and employees's positions restored as ordered by courts before agreeing to any bills. 4) No Funding bill should be agreed to that does not expressly prevent Elon Musk from firing Social Security or Medicare personnel or shutting down offices or holding funds. Additionally, 5) no cuts to funding for the PACT Act 6) no NIH funding cuts 7) no cuts to the animal and plant health inspection service 8) no cuts for the Election Security Grant Funding 9) no cuts to Defense Nuclear Proliferation program 10) no other cuts No additional funding or contracts for Elon Musk or his companies and freeze any already allocated for Musk No additional funding for DOGE and freeze any already allocated for DOGE No additional funding for ISIS No additional funding for Defense I am depending on NOT letting this current funding bill pass above all else. The republicans are pushing for this outrageous bill, hoping that democrats will vote for it just to keep the government from shutting down. Don't do it. A shut down is better than these terms. The republicans and the president and Elon Musk and DOGE are destroying our government, our democracy, our economy and our country as well as hurting the rest of the world. This is your chance to reign them in.
