Protect students with legal status! The arrest of multiple students with legal status across many states by ICE is cruel, unjust, and illegal. Rumeysa Ozturk does not deserve to be arrested and detained. Mahmoud Khalil does not serve to be arrested and detained. Ranjani Srinivasan does not deserve to be targeted. Yunseo Chung does not deserve to be targeted. Momodou Taal does not deserve to be targeted. Badar Khan Suri does not deserve to be awaiting court proceedings. Dr. Rasha Alawieh did not deserve to be deported. Alireza Doroudi did not deserve to be detained. All of these people and the many thousands of students should be free to study safely and express themselves and their political stances safely. I urge you to stand up to ICE and work to pass policy that protects these students rights. I urge you to stand up to this administration, as they defy the rule of law and due process.
