Retaliatory actions are likely, harming exporters and farmers. Historically, trade wars have led to contractions and job losses, not the intended economic revival. I urge you to exercise your constitutional authority over trade and revenue matters. Rein in the President's unilateral tariff actions through legislation that realigns trade policies with America's economic interests.
