The Trump presidency is a danger and a blight on democracy. Free speech, a protected right, is not being protected as it should; propaganda and misinformation are commonplace; and I truly believe, as many Americans do, that our country is the brink of collapse, as fascism, injustice, incompetence, ignorance, and greed continue to grow. But, if history has taught us anything, it’s that corruption cannot and will not persevere, and evil men will aways fall, and often by their own hands. It is not a question of the American people doing what is right. However, the American people will not forget, and likely never forgive, our elected officials and leaders for exploiting and abandoning us when our cries were the loudest. We DO NOT want cuts to Medicaid. We DO NOT want federal employees fired. We DO NOT only recognize two genders. We WANT diversity, equity, and inclusion. We WANT clean water. We WANT real solutions to poverty, homelessness, women’s healthcare, and healthcare for ALL. This is a call to action. You already know what the majority of Americans want, so do your job. Not the job of the fascist. Do your actual job.
