Donald Trump's reckless rhetoric is once again pushing the United States to the brink of war. On Meet the Press on Sunday, Trump threatened Iran, saying that "if they don’t make a deal, there will be bombing, and it will be bombing the likes of which they have never seen before." Congress must act immediately. Lawmakers have both the authority and the responsibility to prevent another disastrous conflict in the Middle East. The Constitution gives Congress—not the president—the power to declare war. It’s time for Congress to make it crystal clear that the American people will not support an unauthorized, catastrophic war with Iran. Please vote NO on any war.
