How many more children have to be slaughtered before the U.S. stops arming Israel? On March 18, Israeli forces launched a massive bombing campaign on Gaza, murdering over 400 Palestinians in a single night—at least 174 of them children, according to Defense for Children International - Palestine. These were not combatants. They were infants, toddlers, schoolchildren—deliberately killed with U.S.-funded bombs.
This was not just another Israeli massacre; it was a clear violation of the so-called truce agreement between Israel and Palestinian armed groups. Defense for Children International stated:
“The airstrikes mark a distinct violation of the truce agreement between the Israeli government and Palestinian armed groups, indicating that Israel is prepared to resume full-scale military operations against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.”
That’s exactly what Israel is doing—full-scale, genocidal military operations. Over 18,000 Palestinian children have been slaughtered since October 7, an unfathomable number that should shake every conscience. But instead of stopping this horror, Washington continues shipping weapons to the perpetrators.
Meanwhile, in the West Bank, Israeli forces and settlers are ramping up their campaign of ethnic cleansing—executing Palestinians, seizing land, and accelerating annexation. Israel is not just violating ceasefires; it is wiping Palestine off the map, knowing full well that the U.S. will bankroll it.
There is no justification for another cent of military aid to Israel. Congress must immediately cut off all funding, weapons, and diplomatic cover. Anything less is complicity in mass murder.
