Limit trumps ability to destroy us all

To: Rep. Houchin, Sen. Banks, Sen. Young

From: A constituent in Bloomington, IN

March 7

If only trump could understand the simplest of concepts. Tariffs will only hurt us. He has hired all his billionaire friends who also have no understanding either. We need someone with actual experience and education to stop him but he has gotten rid of anyone who would know better. You need to do something! He and his magas are trying to get rid of things like food stamps too. Not only do they help children and the most vulnerable eat but for every dollar we spend on food stamps, we get 1.5 dollars back in GDP. That is an investment in our future and also not costing much. Cutting availability to healthcare not only kills people (I am a nurse at a busy hospital) but it is also very expensive to our governmet. I see people in the ED who could have been treated early but have no insurance so they come in once near death. It costs us a fortune. Seeing Trump ruining our economy and isolating us from the world is like a toddler who is touching a hot stove, over and over again but we can't get to them to stop it because he has hired yes men. We have to sit and watch while he eventually burns down the whole house and eventually the whole neighborhood. He WILL start WWIII. He is excited by the idea or he wouldn't keep saying it. Congress and thankfully, the courts are the only ones able to stop this. Do the right thing and put limits on him. Stop him in congress for everyones sake. The magas are not many but they are loud. Don't be distracted by them. You will be voted out if nothing is done! That is, if we still have a democracy.
