Respect the voters

To: Sen. Burger, Rep. Voss

From: A constituent in Cape Girardeau, MO

March 21

The proposed rollback of Missouri's voter-approved sick leave policy and minimum wage increase is concerning. These measures were put in place to support workers and their families. Overturning the will of the voters undermines democracy and harms hardworking Missourians. I urge you to uphold the sick leave law and minimum wage hike that provide vital protections and financial stability for employees across our state. Denying people fair wages and paid sick days is unjust and detrimental to our communities. As an elected official, your duty is to the people, not corporate interests seeking to exploit labor. Stand with Missouri's working families by preserving these hard-won policies.
