Urgent: Your District is Suffering
To: Rep. Fischbach
From: A constituent in Alexandria, MN
March 13
I am in utter disbelief you care so little for me and your constituents. It's obvious you are not listening to us and putting a stop to the destruction of
- our economy
- dismantling of Medicare, Medicaid, snd social security
- destroying the future health of our country by canceling research on cancer and other diseases
- wiping away the security of our country and losing our allies
- firing thousands of government employees unlawfully including now the Dept of Education
And now you vote that a day shall not be considered a calendar day? Mind blowing. We are not dumb. We are not paid actors. We live in your district. Your district where the highest percentage of its residents receive Medicaid. The info is easily available from the State of Minnesota. You are allowing the State to lose $18 million dollars which impact schools, food banks and farmers. Farmers which live in your district. Most of your district is rural. How are you not stepping up and showing us you actually care? You don't care that our veterans are losing valuable services? Our most vulnerable veterans who suffer from mental health issues are now being turned away because of cuts and lack of support at our VA here in Alexandria. It is not right. A nationwide ban on abortion is not what we want. As a woman to watch you go along with women losing rights over their own bodies is deeply disturbing. You can't say it should be a person's right to get a vaccine or not and then say it's not your right to have an abortion. I've had a miscarriage (spontaneous abortion) and a D&C as a result. If I had been unable to receive that life saving (my life) care, I may not have been here. Tell me and tell your constituents how you are helping us. Come to Alexandria and hold a town hall. We have questions and want to know when you're going to stop this madness and destruction of our country.
