I’m reading in the news that democrats in congress are angry at those who went above & beyond the extremely weak shows of protest at the SOTU and that some democrats are even voting to censure Rep. Al Green. I am absolutely disgusted to hear this. I want my representatives to be on the front lines fighting this illegal, fascist, and dangerous regime not picking fights over decorum with their allies. You should be forcefully protesting at every opportunity using every tool available to you. Holding up tiny signs isn’t going to save this country. Throwing allies and vulnerable constituents like queer & trans people under the bus to cater to some imagined public opinion won’t win this war. I am begging you to step up and actually fight.
