Mahmoud Khalil, a legal permanent US resident, has been illegally detained by ICE. He has not been charged with any crime. He is being illegally targeted for exercising his constitutional rights to assembly and expression. The president imagines that he can imprison anyone who says things he doesn’t like. But in the United States, people have the right to speak out against the government. If we allow this sad excuse for a president to abuse his power in this blatantly unconstitutional way, we will become what we fought against in WWII. Do not let this happen. Thank you.
