Trump has lied consistently about cuts to Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security. The 50% reduction in the SSA workforce by Elon Musk's ILLEGAL DOGE endangers SSA's ability to administer retirement and disability benefits to 72.5 million people. Closure of hundreds of local and regional offices that assist people with questions, enrollment and errors disproportionately affect the poor, the disabled and those without computer access. SSA lease terminations are currently concentrated in YOUR areas. Former SSA commissioner Martin O'Malley stated that these cuts will lead to a total system COLLAPSE within 30-90 days. I, and millions like me, DEPEND on Social Security. You MUST condemn these attacks on a system that is a virtual lifeline for many of us!
