I’m writing to ask my elected officials to demand investigations into the Signal breach. Putting national defense information on Signal qualifies as gross negligence, which is a felony. This investigation can’t be done by the F.B.I. and D.O.J., since they have been politicized. We need an Independent Counsel. Crimes were committed; those who committed them need to be charged. Also, why has there not been a call for Hegseth and Waltz to resign? I would like a written explanation, not talking points about a witch hunt. American secrets were exposed, American lives were endangered.
