I am writing to urge you to stand up for federal workers and oppose the dismantling of the essential agencies that serve the American people. The reckless destruction of these institutions, without thought to the consequences, is deeply troubling. We need strong leadership now more than ever to protect the services that millions of Americans rely on daily. Furthermore, I ask that you stand in unwavering support of unions. Workers deserve safe workplaces, the right to advocate for fair labor practices, and the ability to negotiate for better wages and conditions. The ongoing attacks on labor rights are unacceptable, and I implore you to fight for the protections that workers have earned. This administration is tearing apart the very foundations of good governance and labor protections, putting politics over people. I urge you to push back against these harmful policies and be a voice for those who keep this country running. The American people deserve leaders who will stand up for them—please show us that you are one of those leaders. I appreciate your time and look forward to your response on how you plan to address these critical issues.
